Our Flora London Marathon runners 2008

Crimestoppers had 36 dedicated people crossing the line for the 2008 Flora London Marathon. They came from all walks of life - from police officers to graphic designers - and live as far apart as London and Aberdeen.

Each of them pledged to raise £1,200 to help solve crimes. Here some of them explain why they chose to run for Crimestoppers.

    A police officer from Leicestershire, Toby is running the marathon for Crimestoppers in memory of a friend who was brutally murdered.
