Crimewatch

Crimestoppers is an independent charity and not related to the BBC programme Crimewatch.

However, viewers of the Crimewatch TV programme can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, if they want to give information about any crimes featured on the programme. You can also fill out our anonymous online Giving Information Form.

You can call Crimestoppers 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. You will not have to give your name or any personal information and your call cannot be traced. We only want to know the information you know about crime and criminals. we don't want to know who you are.

The last edition of Crimewatch was on BBC1 on Wednesday 19 November.

In this last edition, Crimewatch appealed for information about the following incidents:

  • The hunt to find the man who killed 77-year-old Georgina Edmonds in her own home. View Crimestoppers' Most Wanted appeal for this incident
  • An armed robbery in Tring
  • An appeal to find the man who sexually assaulted a young girl in a playground in Wellingborough
  • Eight more most wanted faces
  • Rav will have some more CCTV including a sexual assault in Plumstead, a burglary in Lincolnshire and a series of armed robberies in Bristol
  • We'll be reappealing on the murders of Patrick Mellard and Colette Aram
  • There's also been some excellent results from the last show and we'll be updating on the Chinese double murder in Newcastle
  • We'll also be telling the story of how police caught the Panama Drug Smuggler
