Welcome to Cambridgeshire Crimestoppers.

We are dedicated to helping solve crimes and taking criminals off the streets across the county of Cambridgeshire, including the cities of Cambridge and Peterborough and surrounding areas.

The Cambridgeshire Board is made up of people from key professions bringing together strengths from the media, regional Government, business sectors and police authority representation. All members give up their free time to co-ordinate promotions and events to raise awareness about the anonymous Crimestoppers telephone number, 0800 555 111.

We rely on a network of volunteers to help us with our work and are currently looking for new members, particularly from the business sector. You could make a difference and help prevent crime in Cambridgeshire by becoming a Crimestoppers volunteer. Kelly Field volunteers for her local Crimestoppers Board. In her day job, she works for a housing company that operates in a number of challenging communities. Capgemini Sailing Challenge
On 27th September 2008, Cambridgeshire Constabulary will be taking part in the Capgemini Sailing Challenge in aid of the charity Crimestoppers.

Criminal damage project
Voyager School in Peterborough have made a DVD, which will be used in schools across Peterborough to look at the implications of criminal damage and grafitti.
