Essex
Welcome to Essex Crimestoppers.
Essex Crimestoppers is dedicated to solving crimes and taking criminals off the streets across the county of Essex, including Southend and Thurrock.
The Essex Crimestoppers Board is made up of 11 volunteers from the community who help to co-ordinate and promote events, which raise the awareness of the anonymous Crimestoppers phone number, 0800 555 111.
We rely on a network of volunteers who help Essex Crimestoppers promote their work. Our volunteers run campaigns, such as the award-winning 'Crack Under Pressure' campaign; promote the anonymous Crimestoppers phone number at major events such as the V-Festival concerts in Chelmsford; and help with fund-raising events.

Essex Crimestoppers business crime seminar
This seminar provided an introduction to the increasing problems associated with crime in a working environment. As a result of the seminar, we made more contacts with businesses in Essex. In the coming months, we'll subsequently be able to promote Crimestoppers to the business community, in conjunction with the Federation of Small Businesses and Essex Chambers of Commerce.
