Changes urgently needed at prison

The prisons inspector has called for 'urgent' changes to be made at Wormwood Scrubs prison in Hammersmith, west London.
Anne Owers said that conditions at the prison have deteriorated since her last visit. According to her report, 20% of prisoners given mandatory drugs tests failed them, which in turn led to gang activity. The prison had also been at the centre of a scandal over abuse of inmates by guards, but the report found no evidence of these problems.
