  Crimestoppers confirms the arrest in Spain of Anthony David Simmons, who was featured on our Most Wanted website and was wanted in connection with the importation of 568kg of cannabis resin from Spain to the UK. [9th December 2006]

• Call Bureau celebrates 1st anniversary with successful stats

  It has been one year since Crimestoppers launched its 24/7 Call Bureau and the latest statistics published by the charity prove the Bureau has been an astounding success. Thanks to a dedicated team of call handlers who now work round the clock, the charity has now taken more calls with actionable information. [25th October 2006]

• Crimestoppers launches adverts to help keep racing clean

  Crimestoppers launched a new advert at Goodwood Racecourse on 25th May, to further raise the awareness of the Crimestoppers number in the racing industry. The advert will be shown at race courses across the UK and by racing broadcasters. [26th May 2006]

• Crimestoppers launches Game Over 4 Knives micro site

  Crimestoppers is supporting a nationwide knife amnesty by launching a new website called www.gameover4knives.com. The charity is backing the Home Office's move to tackle the problem by launching a micro site to educate youngsters about the dangers of carrying blades. [22nd May 2006]
